Our mission is to proactively grow our own technical talent in order to
future proof the needs of the business.

There are currently 240,000 digital roles which are being advertised in the North each year. But, 170,000 suitably skilled workers to fill the roles (Tech North, 2018). As a business with substantial growth ambitions we have to be proactive about addressing the technical skill gaps. One of the ways in which we currently do this is through our Tech Academy Graduate Programme which focuses on bringing onboard smart-creative graduates. The Tech Academy is our new initiative which aims to upskilling and cross-training our exisiting employees through a series of technical workshops.

Our Unique Tech Academy Graduate Programme puts you on the path towards earning a Master’s in Digital and Technology Solutions accredited by Sheffield Hallam University. Not to mention put you at the heart of a flexible, game-changing working environment that is responsible for some of the UK’s leading apps, websites and games.

Fully supported throughout you will receive classroom and hands-on training from university lecturers and our very own industry leading engineers. We are looking for graduates with problem solving skills, a pragmatic approach, creativity and the ability to learn and adapt quickly so it doesn’t matter what degree discipline you have come from.

These 4 to 6 week bootcamps focus on upskilling or cross skilling experienced technologists in a new skill set which will result in a new perm role within the business.

We work with the key technical stakeholders to understand the future skills needed in the business. Our own market leading engineers design and deliver the curriculum over the course of the bootcamp. The bootcamp’s offer people the perfect opportunity to take the next step in the career in a supportive environment.

We hold various tech workshops on a regular basis. These are run as bitesize technical learning modules and tend to last between 1 hour and 1 day.
