Head of Design & UX

Collaboration is key to what we do as a team and it is promoted and encouraged throughout the Gaming tribe. Learning from each other, working together to get to the best outcome happens on a daily basis which is very positive. The business is perfectly placed to continue to grow and that is something I am very excited to contribute towards. Coupled with the new strategy and vision that has been shared, it promises to be exciting times ahead with great opportunity to improve our Design and UX offerings to our users.


I enjoy working with the team and wider Gaming tribe to collaboratively drive forward our products and User Centred approach. Additionally, the Sky Betting & Gaming culture was highlighted a lot during the recruitment process and it's something that has really shone through since I started last November.


Some of my top career highlights are having the opportunity from day 1 to adapt and optimise key aspects of the department with high levels of support and buy-in from the team. These changes will create the platform for success going forward as we look to elevate UX & Design within the Gaming tribe and build up the design culture. We've also adapted brilliantly as a team to working remotely with great communication, collaboration and commitment all key to that success, whilst delivering some great project and campaign work.


With regular check-ins and feedback, there is continual opportunity for staff to progress. From a departmental point of view, we have worked hard over the past few months to clarify skills and behaviours for each level of role that gives extra visibility on individual development opportunities. On a personal level, getting to work closely with the Gaming Leadership Team provides a platform for me to have a wider influence on the business and learn from Director level peers.
