We’re a tech and digital company that quickly grew to become a market leader in
the betting and gaming world. How? By understanding what our players want,

Our Sky heritage means ‘better' runs through us like a stick of rock. Today, we
have more than 1,400 colleagues — and every single one of us takes the
responsibility and the opportunity to create amazing experiences for our players.

We’ve doubled in size over the last five years. And we’re only just getting started.

Twelve intrepid legends broke free from a rival bookmaker to form Surrey Sports in Harrogate. A goldfish bowl became our office — and a symbol of our heritage.

We adopted a different approach and made some brave decisions — like the launch of Sky Bet Vegas, which would ultimately change the way the entire industry worked… and played.

After launching free-to-play games like Soccer Saturday Super 6 and rebranding Sky Bet Vegas to Sky Vegas, we grew to 2.5 million players while reducing churn and increasing acquisition.

With a shrinking talent pool — and with the launch of Fantasy Football just around the corner — we made the jump to Leeds, where we knew we’d find some really great people. It was a big move that solved some big problems.

We stepped up our marketing investment, which included sponsoring the EFL. We began to promise all customers a ‘better’ experience. Data began to influence our decisions, which helped us to learn and adapt quickly.

Our change of ownership came at exactly the right time. We kept our Sky friendships but gained the ability to invest freely in initiatives like our new Sheffield office — and the launch of Sporting Life Pick 7 and Sky Sports Fantasy Six-A-Side.

In July 2018, The Stars Group acquired Sky Betting & Gaming to form one of the world's largest, most licensed and most geographically and product diverse publicly listed online betting and gaming companies.

The Stars Group became part of Flutter Entertainment plc, which brought together some exceptional brands, products and businesses — not to mention vastly talented and experienced teams — to give us a truly diverse, global presence.
